After uninstalling and re-installing, I followed George’s intructions :http://blog.dawouds.com/2008/10/maven-2-axis-wsdl-code-gen.html
I had to add the following dependencies to the pom file:

javax.xml
jaxrpc-api
1.1

axis
axis
1.4
jar

And with a bit of hackery and trickery I managed to generate some proxy classes from the wsdl (I am a NetBeans and Java noob, so I am sure you bright folks can figure it out too!)

Hope this helps somebody!

I just want to know if this will work with Netbeans 8.
Before I installed the JAX-RPC plugin on Netbeans 7.2 and my IDE crashed.

Thanks in advance.

After clicking continue, NetBeans exits. No error, nothing.

So I can’t use NetBeans to disable the modules. Which config files are these modules loaded from?

Uninstalling the JAX-RPC plugin completely borked my Netbeans install, to the point where the IDE doesn’t accept any keyboard input anymore. I’m not saying this is a bad article, maybe I did something wrong, for all I know I simply followed the steps. Just wanted to point out that installing this plugin is somewhat risky.
