Hard rebooted. Got to Evervolv and system is up. Trying to install gapps. Not able to access or create any dir under “sd-ext”. SD card is mounted and accessible but not sure why I cant do an “ls” or “mkdir”

Sorry, missed that. Step 3 completed with no errors. but nothing happened on phone. So I rebooted. All I see is android icon with a !

the root problem is gone, I just kept trying and ^C and it started at some point. But I dont know where to get the tar or zip file of the jelly bean its not there in the link above.

Stuck at the “waiting for device”. First it time tried to install but said no space. So I removed all the apps on phone and tried to run BlackRose again. But it just is stuck at “waiting for device”.

Hello – hope this will help

1) Black rose is to be installed on the PC and started with admin privileges (root on Linux, Administrator on Windows)

2) as described in my blog entry
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash hboot hboot_jellybean_260-8-168.nb0
fastboot reboot-bootloader

3) step #2 and #3 are performed on the PC with the tools provided by ADK

Couple of queries

1) Black rose is to be installed at root of the PC rt ? not the SD card ?

2) stupid question … but how to apply a small patch to HBoot ?

3) Step 1 and 2 must be done with the phone in bootloader mode rt ?
